Chapter Four : The Heartbreaking News That Was Told To My Dad.

"Because we were young, both my little brother and I, our mom's sister couldn't break the tragic news to us.

We saw her crying, but at that age, we just didn't understand what had just happened to us and how our life would change forever.

My Dad, still far away in the city, rushed all the way down to the hospital.

The hardest news a person can ever hear in this life is losing someone they love with their whole heart and soul. It's losing someone they cherish, someone they appreciate, someone they hoped to spend the rest of their life with, someone who made them smile, laugh, and console them in difficult times. Losing someone like that can break a person's heart forever.

When my Dad arrived at the hospital, my Mom's sister broke the news to him and told him all that had happened.

My Dad was in so much pain, weeping uncontrollably. For more than an hour, he didn't look at us, his kids, because at that very moment, his heart was broken. He never, ever thought he would experience such a tragedy. But as the saying goes, "Life is never fair."

After a long while of weeping, my Dad took both my little brother and me into his embrace and hugged us tight. He decided to be strong and entered the hospital room to say his final goodbyes to the love of his life.

His steps were counted, like a clock ticking. This was a man who had just lost his everything.

Accompanied by my mom's sister, he said his last goodbye to her elder sister, whom she cared about deeply.

This tragedy was yet to be told to my grandparents, and it was going to be the tragedy that changed it all.

This is when life really started, and this is when I welcome you to my story."
